ASUG New York City Chapter Summer Meeting & Social – SAP Experience Center, Hudson Yards, New York City | July 30, 2026

I had the opportunity to attend the ASUG New York City Chapter Summer Meeting & Social at the SAP Experience Center in Hudson Yards, New York City.

Key Theme:  One of the key themes discussed during the event was the evolution of AI within the SAP ecosystem, particularly the shift toward Agentic AI and intelligent enterprise automation. The discussions explored how AI is moving beyond traditional assistance and analytics toward autonomous agents that can understand business context, support decision-making, coordinate activities across processes, and automate multi-step enterprise workflows.

There was also discussion around the importance of enterprise data, governance, and integration as the foundation for effective AI adoption, especially as organizations look to embed AI capabilities into their SAP landscapes. The event provided useful perspectives on how AI, automation, data, and SAP transformation are increasingly coming together to create more intelligent and adaptive business processes, along with an opportunity to exchange ideas and connect with SAP customers, partners, and other members of the ASUG community.
