Pride Month & Juneteenth
Celebrating Diversity, Inclusion, and Freedom
June is recognized globally as Pride Month, a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, honor its history, and promote equality, acceptance, and inclusion for all. It serves as a reminder of the importance of creating environments where everyone feels respected, valued, included and empowered to be their authentic selves.
On June 19th, we also observe Juneteenth, commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth marks a significant milestone in the ongoing journey toward freedom, justice, and equal opportunity. It is a day to reflect on the importance of diversity, acknowledge historical struggles, and reaffirm our commitment to building a more inclusive society.
Together, Pride Month and Juneteenth encourage us to embrace different perspectives, celebrate individual identities, and foster a culture of respect, belonging, and equity for everyone.
