Introduction & Bio Summary
I joined GS about 1 year ago. As a Senior Technical Project Manager, I am responsible for managing and leading development for the Business Intelligence & Analytics team at one of the major Groupsoft clients.
I have over 15 years of experience in project management, business analysis, and application development. Extensive experience working with technical teams. I started as a developer, gained strong technical hands-on skills, transitioned to team lead and project management, passed the PMP exam and for the last 8 years was supporting teams on a variety of IT projects, system implementations and digital transformations. I have led teams to successfully deploy new product lines, optimize business and IT processes and transition from waterfall to agile methodologies.
I am really passionate about supporting the leadership team at GS with IT strategy, roadmap, technology landscape and growing relationships with our business partners.
Can you talk about the most exciting or challenging part of your job?
Drive collaboration between global teams, partnering with product owners, stakeholders, and executives, delivering on committed release goals.
I am very excited that my job requires and allows me to utilize multiple skills and experiences I gained over the years: broad technical skills, project management skills and people skills. I am required to have a clear understanding of the project goals, navigate my team through the established schedule to make sure we meet deadlines, identify the obstacles, and come up with quick and efficient solutions. The combination of leveraging the top technological solutions and highest-level professional resources makes my job exciting and unique.
And here comes a challenge: I am trying to keep my hands on the “pulse of the project” all the time, but not micromanaging. I have a challenge to make sure that each team member takes responsibility, delivering the value for our clients, and at the same time growing professionally and having fun while doing so.

My dream job involves an extensive amount of teamwork, working together on complex problems. I love that my job emphasizes communication.

In creative work, like software development, teams need room to work, to experiment. Time should be given to allow for innovation. Give the team that time and they will use it to deliver that value faster and faster. Organization should enable innovation. If we overwork the team, then there is no room for problem solving
