Groupsoft Celebrates National Pet Parents Day: Cherishing Our Pets

At Groupsoft, where we all adore pets, we’re excited for National Pet Parents Day! It’s a day dedicated to honoring the special bond between humans and their beloved animal companions. From playful pups to cuddly kittens, our pets bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love into our lives every day.

As pet parents, we cherish snuggles on the couch and playtime in the backyard. To all the pet parents in our Groupsoft family, thank you for making our workplace brighter with your love and dedication to your furry friends. Here are some snapshots of our adorable pets!

Pet Name: Leo —– Our pets can be our friends, our partners, and our greatest cheerleaders. I spent most of my life without one, so I had no idea what made them so special. Then I met my Leo! He has a huge heart and loves to meet people. Simply by walking around the neighborhood, he’s helped meet and interact with my community! My favorite time of the day is walking in the door, with him waiting (who says dogs can’t tell time). Our pets often want nothing more than to be in our presence, and we should all value the time we spend with them. Pet Parent: Andrey

Pet Name: Simba —– Simba is a personality difficult to ignore. 10 years old now, he has brought to all around him nothing but joy. Extremely gentle and giving yet resilient and highly intelligent, he is a study in caring, dignified and perseverant behavior. Everyday we are thankful for his presence. Loves to go for drives, beaches and hikes; is very happy to snuggle and get hugs; and absolutely enjoys his treats and sleep. Pet Parent: Amitabh Nema

Pet Name: Norbu —– Norbu, my adorable Lhasa Apso with a flair for the dramatic, once found himself in a hilariously awkward situation that left both me and my brother in stitches.

On this peaceful evening, Norbu was happily curled up in his favorite seat on the couch. All was peaceful until, unexpectedly, a thunderous sound erupted, startling him out of his blissful reverie. With wide eyes and confusion, Norbu cautiously looked about the room, trying to figure out what was making the mysterious noise.

Unaware that the culprit was none other than his own rear end, which had betrayed him with an unexpected burst of flatulence. But Norbu, who had an acute sense of drama, thought an unseen invader was attacking him.

He jumped off the couch with a funny yelp of surprise and his small legs carried him to safety behind the nearest armchair. As for me and my brother, we laughed uncontrollably at Norbu’s overly dramatic response. As the laughter died down, Norbu finally came out of hiding, his dignity a little dented but his spirits unfazed.

From that day forward, Norbu’s unexpected encounter with his own flatulence became a cherished family story, eliciting giggles and smiles whenever it is retold. And while Norbu may have been momentarily startled by his own gas, his charming personality and humorous antics have only strengthened our relationship as his family. Pet Parent: Pratishtha Kashyap

Pet Name: Max—– Max, the resilient warrior with a heart as big as his stature, embodies the true spirit of survival and love. As a Great Dane and Himalayan Mastiff mix, he stands tall and proud, a testament to his strength and determination.

Max’s journey began with adversity, as he emerged as the sole survivor out of 14 puppies. His early days were filled with challenges, but his spirit remained unbroken. However, Max’s resolve was tested on a fateful day when his fun demeanor brought him into a life-threatening situation involving a snake. He jumped, playfully engaging with the serpent, oblivious to the danger it posed. The snake struck quickly and viciously, driving its poisonous fangs into Max’s unwary tongue.

We hurried him to the veterinarian in a last-ditch effort to save his life, sparking the start of the real fight for his survival. Hours stretched into eternity as the medical team fought tirelessly to counteract the deadly venom coursing through Max’s veins. Through it all, Max remained stoic and brave, his unwavering spirit shining through even in the face of death’s shadow.

Amazingly, Max survived and overcame hardship and his indomitable will to survive triumphing over this adversity. Despite his terrifying experience leaving scars and marks on him, he came out of it stronger and more resilient than before.

Max’s tale serves as a powerful reminder of the bond we share with our furry companions, a bond forged in love, tested by adversity, and strengthened by resilience. As we celebrate National Pet Parents Day, I want to honor my pet Max, and all the courageous pets who have touched our lives with their unwavering loyalty and boundless love.
