Training and Development Updates

Each year, we are all responsible for investing a minimum 40 hours on our self development. The development areas can include anything from technical to management skills or soft skills like communication. The development initiatives aim towards new learnings, enhancement of skills and all efforts that lead to an improved self. These initiatives can be in the form of Trainings, workshops, webinars, online courses or even podcasts.

The HR team is dedicated to providing you with continued learning and skill advancement opportunities so we can continue to Grow Together in 2022!

So far this year, two of our team members have volunteered to host a session, or two, in an area that they excel in. 

• Samarendra, Senior Business Consultant,  hosted 3 sessions in Excel Training series, all of which have been uploaded to BambooHR for easy access to anyone looking to brush up their skills. Visit your BambooHR training page or the link below to access the recordings: Excel Training Sessions – 2022

A curated list of video training guides is uploaded to your Mineral account each quarter. These trainings focus on different soft skills like communication or business writing. This quarter, we will be highlighting communication essentials. Visit https://apps.trustmineral.com/auth/login for more details. 

Upcoming Company-Wide Training:

Cyber Security Training: We are in the midst of planning a live cyber security training session, similar to the one we had last April. If your training has expired, please stay tuned for more information on the upcoming meeting, or simply refresh your Cyber Security Training via the link in your BambooHR portal.

Anti-Harassment Training: We are also planning a live Anti-Harassment training. This is an annual compliance requirement and will be mandatory for all. We will share the final date and time with you soon via Slack.

Trainers Wanted!:

Are you a Presentation Pro? A Communication Connoisseur? A Dynamite Data Analyst? A Masterful Manager? Would like to conduct a training session for the team in any of these areas, please email HR@groupsoftus.com.
