Editor’s Note

The ‘moment’ when we look back, yet at the same time look ahead. A moment we spend to reminisce and also to make plans. A moment when the past and the future seem to merge together beautifully and seamlessly. Yes, we are at the cusp of the new year once again.

I have just returned from a holiday in the Bahamas. The country overwrought with a painful past, is now so alive with beauty, warmth, music and hope. While I was there, I came across the work of a Bahamian artist Angelika Wallace, who came up in 2019 with a message and expresses it through her art – ‘Hope is a Weapon’. What a powerful message. It is hope that gives us the strength to overcome hardships and move towards a brighter future. Isn’t it? Not only every Bahamian feels it, but it resonates with all of us.

Last 2 years have been tragedy and anxiety driven. Through the trauma we have slugged on by staying together, focusing on our families and children, working hard. After one variant and then another, we are still here and standing strong with hope that we will overcome the virus, we will survive, we will know life again as we once knew it before COVID.

Despite all the hardship, we as a Groupsoft team have really worked hard and are able to close Year 2021 on a positive note. That has happened only because of our positive approach and our inherent hope to do better.

Sharing a picture that speaks to me of a vision that is just beyond the horizon for us to reach out and make our own. I hope the new year-2022 will be glorious for you. Let us be inspired, be grateful and continue to focus on what is truly important in our short lives. Stay Happy and stay positive.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and a healthy 2022,
Priyanka Nema
